About the Hutto Homeschool Co-op
Our official mascot is the Quokka - and with good reason, too! So the story goes that quokkas sacrifice their young to get away from predators, right? We're looking at that from a different perspective - we are preparing our kids for the real world so that when they have to face predators on their own, they're ready and can handle what life throws at them when us parents aren't around!
We exist purely for the sake of our children and other families in the homeschool community. We welcome new families all the time and love new parent volunteers that want to help make a difference in their children's homeschool experience. Classes typically run on Wednesday afternoons for 8-10 weeks at a time in the Fall and Spring semesters. We also have field trips, family outings, and park days! Currently, while there are restrictions due to COVID-19, our classes are meeting virtually Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays depending on the class.
